Up until now, we have only offered this apprenticeship opportunity to our existing support workers within the organisation. So it is with much excitement that we are now also welcoming EXTERNAL applicants too. We are recruiting for apprenticeships to start in 2023. The course will run over a two year period, helping to transform the nursing and care workforce and as a trainee nursing associates, you will be allocated a clinical team to work within for the duration of the apprenticeship.

You may already be a health support worker within LYPFT looking for the next step into your career? Or perhaps someone already working in the wider NHS but has a passion for supporting people who have a learning disability or have mental health difficulties? Or you may be someone who has an aspiration to work in healthcare? This could be the opportunity for you to become a Trainee Nursing Associate within our Trust and open up a career pathway within the field of nursing.
