Please note: Overtime is mandatory when required and paid at time and a half. Job Description: As a Auto and Heavy Equipment Receiver, you will:
  • Receive, process, locate and release all cargo as it enters and leaves the Port of Southampton
  • Produce clear and accurate lists detailing the cargo for export on each vessel
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the receiving and issue processes are completed in accordance with the SOP’s.
  • Plan space requirements for export and import cargo in all allocated compounds and storage areas.
Job Requirements: Background and Experience
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Good MS Office skill - i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
